MediaActionCenter.org is a community website for activists, researchers, educators, organizers, funders, independent producers, public interest groups and other advocates for media policies and systems that serve social justice and human rights.

It presents tools, share information, and network with others working for media reform, media justice, the public interest and communications rights.

The website is designed as an information-exchange and networking center for people and organizations who are challenging the corporate-driven media through activism, education, research, organizing and policy advocacy.

Media Action Center's goal is a system of diverse, independent media that represent public interests against powerful institutions. They support efforts to forge policies and infrastructures that allow all people to freely communicate within and beyond their communities, tell their own stories, express their cultures and access the information they need.
