In the hang over of the racist attacks against the migrant "jornaleros" in El Ejido, so much information, images and documentation was available in the media, both mainstream and alternative, that you would hardly think the people directly affected, the migrants having been attacked would still be missing some kind of media coverage.

Most people have approached Mundos Soñados as a glossy tourist magazine to be found anywhere: airports, malls, social centres, to find after a little while that it's not a common magazine: those "guardia civil" shadows in the front page, the warship in the skyline, the "botijo" under the palm tree... The rest of the magazine goes along the same lines, flashy images of happiness and enjoyment. There's not a single image that does not come from tourist magazines, except for the "guardias civiles" of course.

Koerswijziging.nl is a web-based initative of a small group young persons of Moroccan origin in the Netherlands. This initiative was started in order to counter the increasingly negative image of Moroccan persons in the Dutch mainstream media and the current political discourse. In a climate where it has become routine to make the entire Moroccan community of a city responsible for the misbehavior of individuals with a Moroccan background and where representatives of the Dutch social democratic party (PvdA) can refer to Moroccans as 'kut Marokkanen' (shit-Moroccans) without any consequences and very little public reaction, the initiators of this website 'rely on the ability of the Moroccan community' in order to create a positive image of the third-largest immigrant community in the Netherlands.

Students have come together in Cottbus / Brandenburg to network against neofascist tendencies in their schools. Feeling left alone with their engagement, their frustration is big. But neverless their engagement is impressing – even though more and more engaged people are leaving the region. They have independently started the Antifascist Schoolnetwork Cottbus.

The propossal was made incide the contexts of the Barrio Social Centre, a squat called El Laboratorio 3, where most of the antiglobalization, ecologist and neighbourhood movements coincide.
