The workshop "Mapping Rightwinged Extremism" took place successfully in Novi Sad, in the firt week of August 2004 and was the start-up for a continuous cooperation of young people from Brandenburg and Novi Sad, to struggle against new and old tendencies of Rightwinged Extremism in their regions.

In Serbia in the last six months was recorded more racist and nationalist assaults than in the last five years. In the first six months of 2004 official records count 44 assaults on ethnic basis, 13 fights and 17 assaults on Roma people. In all these events one national- chauvinist discipline was more prominent than the others: there were 32 cases of grave desecration.

The narrow mountain roads, that lead up to the former hunting lodge of Tito, are framed by thousands of people. They all have taken the Mayday as a cause for a trip into nature, lay easygoingly in the medium high grass or are barbecueing the meet on an open fire. Everything has its order in such an idyll like hundred years ago: The kids play ball, the women spread out blankets, the men drink beer.

Infoespai ('Infospace') is a 'node of communication and encouragment' in Barcelona's Gracia district. Created to collect and spread critical information on social, political and economic transformation, Infoespai takes the form of a small shopfront and office-style workspace facing onto the lively public square Plaça del Sol. It provides free internet access, both by CAT-5 and WiFi, an infopoint which gathers alternative publications, a photocopier, meeting centre, computer resources and workspace for activists and those working within the social movements.
